Description
FUB-AKB48
FUB-AKB48, AKB48 (Item No. 11566) is a pentyl indazole with structural similarity to the synthetic cannabinoids (CBs) JWH 018 adamantyl carboxamide (Item No. 9001193) and STS-135 (Item No. 11564), which have been sold for recreational use.1 Generally, quinolones with adamantyl-carboxamide moieties display high affinity for the peripheral cannabinoid (CB2) receptor but greatly reduced affinity for the central cannabinoid (CB1) receptor.2 AKB48 N-(4-fluorobenzyl) analog is an AKB48 derivative in which the pentyl chain has been replaced with a 4-fluorobenzyl group in order to mimic a structural feature of the potent CB1 modulator AB-FUBINACA (Item No. 14039). The physiological properties of this compound are not known. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.

5F-AKB48 (also known as 5F-APINACA) is a synthetic designer cannabinoid that acts as a potent agonist for the CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors. It produces subjective effects somewhat similar to that of cannabis with a short duration and an emphasis on intense physical sensations. Its metabolism has been described in the scientific literature. It was first identified in South Korea[6]and is available for sale as a grey area research chemical through online vendors.
